I CAN’T
To my mind, this is the most character-defining moment for Jason Todd. Even after his estranged biological mother sells him out to the Joker, after he’s beaten to a pulp with a crowbar, his only thought is for her safety. He might’ve escaped by himself, he might’ve just given up and waited for death, but in the very last moments of his life, he was forgiving and heroic.
